Welcome! I'm very happy to have started what should be an interesting journey. However, much like Disneyland (some things went wrong, rides didn't work and so fourth) IMNOTBAD.COM is going through something similar.
Ok, here's the story... I began a Yahoo group in 2000 called Roger Rabbit's Nightmare, a site combining two of my favorite movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It began as just a tribute with a few photos from two movies that really didn't have much information available. Soon, Nightmare took off and it was way too difficult to keep up. Around 2001, I changed the group to Roger Rabbit's Toon Town and focused just on its characters.
In 2003, when the pin trading craze was taking off, Jessica came out of nowhere with the Aloha! From Jessica pin. From that day forward, Jessica has been everywhere. Well, certainly in pin form but a lot of other merchandise soon followed. Truth be known, I AM the biggest Jessica Rabbit fan you will find. Any dispute on that then I would like to at least think I'm in the top five! Anyway, that said, I didn't see much reason to dedicate the group to the film, so I closed it and started JRab. The title was inspired by nicknames such as "JLo" and I began the group on February 14 of 2003.
The years went by and the pins kept coming! I enjoyed being on Yahoo, but it was not exactly what I wanted, so I knew eventually the time would come when I'd have to venture out and have a real site created. I am not at all versed in html so I am having a friend do that work now and will learn it as the site builds up. Where I really come in is with the site content. I have been collecting photos and info about Jessica since 1988. I have an enormous database and when I began this project, I didn't really realize it would become such a monster. Renaming files, writing codes, selecting colors - it was all new to me. I am also very particular, so I knew exactly what I wanted - I just didn't know how to do it.
I've had Jessica on the brain now more in the last few months than the past 20 years. I hate to say it, but I'm so over it! I'll always love Jessica, but after all these years of being the biggest Jessica freak you can imagine, I've hit my peak!
For all the people who love Jessica though, and feel it's high time she got a great site dedicated to her, I hope in time this site will serve that purpose. It will be both a learning experience for me and a goal I've long since wanted to accomplish. So with all that, and with life sort of getting the the way so much lately, I hope with your patience and help this will be the best Jessica Rabbit website ever.
I've created 20 different wallpapers that I hope you will enjoy and accept as an apology for not having the site the way it should be on opening day.
